Helping women touched by cancer become mothers.
Breast Milk Banks

Many women who undergo certain cancer treatments may not be able to breastfeed their newborns. For instance, women who undergo double mastectomies are unable to breastfeed because their milk ducts are removed during the procedure. Some women must start or continue cancer treatment immediately following childbirth. In these instances, cancer patients and survivors could use donated breast milk from a milk bank.

The Human Milk Banking Association of North America (HMBANA) is a multidisciplinary group of health care providers that  promotes, protects, and supports donor milk banking. HMBANA is the only professional membership association for milk banks in Canada, Mexico and the United States and as such sets the standards and guidelines for donor milk banking for those areas.” Below is a list of milk bank locations listed on their website:
